Mr. Gilmore has more than 10 years of experience directing the sales and
marketing of turnkey fleet management and maintenance solutions to hundreds of local and state government and corporate fleet
operations. His particular areas of expertise include fleet assessment and program evaluation, cost of service analysis,
request for proposal development, managed competition, pricing, contract negotiations and government procurement regulations.
Tod's selected project experience is outlined below. - Assisted over 35 municipal, county and
educational fleets assess the feasibility of outsourcing fleet management and maintenance services. Projects included benchmarking
cost competitiveness, reviewing operations for compliance with industry best practices and assessing the adequacy of shop
facilities.
- Assessed the feasibility of outsourcing fleet management and maintenance services
for over 50 municipal, county, educational and quasi-governmental fleets. Projects included benchmarking cost competitiveness
and service delivery.
- Managed over fifty (50) proposal development and pricing projects for
public and private sector turnkey fleet management and maintenance services.
- Managed four (4)
proposal development and pricing projects for turnkey parts management and supply services.
- Managed
eight (8) proposal development and pricing projects for turnkey pupil transportation service
Tod
holds an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University and is Six Sigma certified. He is also a Lecturer
in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies at Eastern University, St. Davids, PA.
